DATA VIZ
Dr. Douglas Tuckler is a researcher working in the area of Dark Matter at the University of British Columbia. The following data visualizations were created as supporting graphics for his numerous speaking engagements across both North America and Europe.

KEY GRAPHIC
The process began by recreating a sample graph from Dr. Tuckler’s research in an approachable and visually appealing way. Inspiration was pulled from sci-fi book jackets and grainy independent cinema, as a familiar thematic through line. Bold angular titles were paired with sharp pops of neon colour.

With the creative approach approved of, a slide deck was created following suit.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
From the spot illustrations and established brand typography social media graphics were created.

Dr Tuckler has been able to leverage the redesigned graphics in several of his speaking engagements in the United States and Europe in 2024.
